"Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The slick was approximately 3.01 nm long and .058 nm wide at its widest point and had good contrast with its background. Although numerous oil facilities were in the region, a singular point source was identified. Winds were out of the se at 4 kt and aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly. Considering the above factors, we have high confidence in this assessment. Uncertainties: this anomaly does exhibit some characteristics of biogenic matter, however given that a point source was identified uncertainties are low."
