g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party: A tractor trailer carrying six (6) Battery Energy Storage Systems rolled over at the intersection of Hwy 47 and Navy Way. This roll-over caused the Lithium Batteries to explode and catch fire. This incident has not been stopped or contained. No waterways were impacted. Hwy 47 is closed in all directions. The fire is currently being allowed to burn out by local Fire Crews. Approximately 100 people were evacuated from three (3) ports. No injuries reported. | ||
