g. DESCRIPTION: A private citizen discovered a glass vial containing a liquid substance he identified as mercury outside his apartment complex. He carefully wrapped the vial in a cloth, placed it in a plastic container, and attempted to have trained government personnel recover the material. However, he has not yet found a department willing to retrieve the substance from his residence. The citizen is seeking assistance with proper disposal as soon as possible.
