DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party, due to human error during the filling of a 9,000-gallon tank, an overpressure condition occurred, resulting in an unknown amount of liquid nitrogen being released into the atmosphere. The release was halted within five minutes of the overpressure event, and the material is unrecoverable. The reporting party is working with the vendor to determine the exact quantity of the release. The incident occurred outside the building, and approximately six individuals were evacuated as a precaution. | ||
