g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : An overhead pole-mounted transformer caught on fire causing the release of material onto soil surrounding the base of the utility pole in a vacant lot. The cause is possibly due to the high temperature causing an overload. The release has been stopped and fire extinguished. A contractor is in route to handle clean up. A Southern California Edison crew will be replacing the transformer.
