Orignal Description:Per the Reporting Party: A cardboard crushing machine had an unknown mechanical failure causing oil to leak out of the machine and onto the concrete. The release has been stopped. Employees on site deployed a spill kit using absorbent to remove the material. There were no injuries.

SITUATION UPDATE:
Per the NRC Report: "The caller reported a discharge of approximately 1 gallon of an unknown oil from a card board crushing machine that went onto the concrete at the incident location. The cause of the discharge is due to an unspecified mechanical failure. -no drainage, or waterways impacted." Remedial Actions: "Absorbent pads have been applied. Material was contained. Clean up is complete."
