| g. DESCRIPTION: | ***Potential Release*** Per Caller: A passenger vehicle went off of the road and into Lake Crowley on the southeast side of the lake near the Long Valley Reservoir Dam. CHP responded for the accident. The Dept of Water and Power responded and confirmed no sheen was seen in the water. The driver of the vehicle was able to exit. Unknown injuries for the driver. Due to difficulty accessing the location where the vehicle landed, the plan for removing the vehicle is still be discussed. Booms are being placed on the other side of the dam from the accident site to prevent any oil from entering the aqueduct system. No damage occurred to the dam. ***Potential Release*** PER NRC: POTENTIAL RELEASE FROM A VEHICLE THAT WAS ACCIDENTALLY DRIVEN INTO THE WATER (DRUNK DRIVER). REMEDIAL ACTIONS: PLACING OIL BOOM. | ||
