DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party, a customer was in the process of fueling their vehicle when it was discovered that there was a hole in the fuel tank, resulting in an approximate release of five (5) gallons of gasoline onto the concrete surface. No waterways were affected by the release. The release has been stopped and contained. The reporting party took immediate action to manage the cleanup, utilizing absorbent materials such as kitty litter and absorbent pads. The contaminated materials were properly collected and disposed of in a 45-gallon barrel. | ||
