DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party: A customer vehicle ran over the fuel delivery hose during a fuel transfer operation from the fuel tanker delivery truck to the underground gasoline storage tank at a Safeway Fuel Station causing the release. The release has been stopped. The release fuel impacted the immediate parking lot area; employees on site deployed booms to contained the material. Spill pads were then utilized for clean up and material disposed of in waste barrels. There were no injuries associated with the incident. The vehicle drove off after running over the hose; no license plate was obtained.
