g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, on 10/20/2024 sometime Sunday night, The Oasis at Death Valley Hotel experienced a release of sewage. The spill was stopped at approximately 0534 in the morning on 10/21/2024. A pump failure at the listed location caused the release of the sewage. The pump failure may have been due to a power outage. No waterways were impacted. The spill occurred near the golf course at the Hotel. The spill was not contained, and the sewage is dispersed across the golf course land. The cause of the spill is still under investigation.
