g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, the recent weather event resulted in rainwater entering the recycling bins, mixing with oil, and subsequently spilling onto the asphalt. This mixture flowed into a nearby storm drain, which leads to San Pablo Bay, a non-potable water source. The Chevron Richmond Technology Center's fire department responded to the incident and secured the storm drain by constructing a dike. Due to the heavy rainfall, the material released into the drain is unrecoverable. However, the remaining release has been successfully contained and stopped.
