g. DESCRIPTION: A sulfur dioxide release at the listed refinery may have exceeded the reportable quantity of 500 pounds. The alarm activated in the Control Room and key personnel were notified. Technicians have responded to the incident site and the area has been isolated. No personnel evacuations were necessary and the facility remains in operation. The South Coast Air Quality Management Division will be responding to the site later this morning. At the time of this report, no public notifications were necessary.
