g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : A fire in a trash can outside a residence caused damage to the gas meter which caused a natural gas leak at the foundation creating the release. The release started at 1542 hours and is on going; the release is underground and occurring at an unknown rate. The Fire Department was on scene and extinguished the fire. A Southern California Gas Company supervisor is on scene. A Southern California Gas Company Crew is in route to the scene. Three (3) people were evacuated from the residence. There are no reported injuries. There are no road closures. Reporting party will call back when release is secured and evacuation is lifted.
