Orignal Description:Reporting party states a main line broke on 01/22/2023 at 2100 hours. RP attempted to isolate the release but was unable to until 0115 hours on 01/23/2023. The release was discharged into a storm drain that leads into the Pacific Ocean. RP states there is a road closure in place and it is unknown when the road will open back up. RP will be providing updates.
Update(s): 01/24/2023 02:43:08 PM -
Repairs have been made to the main line. Water Dist. is working on backfill and rebuilding the road.
Environmental monitoring indicated no impact. Water quality samples were pulled from the storm drain.
