g. DESCRIPTION: Per reporting party, a vehicle struck a pole-mounted transformer, causing it to fall and release approximately 7 gallons of non-PCB mineral oil onto the soil and asphalt. No waterways were impacted by this release. The leak has been stopped and contained. Contractors will oversee the cleanup process. The local fire and police departments are on the scene and will close one lane of the road during the investigation.
