g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, due to a mechanical failure in a FedEx truck engine resulted in the release of approximately 20 gallons of oil onto the asphalt, which subsequently flowed into a nearby storm drain. The Los Angeles County Fire Department - Health Hazardous Division, California Highway Patrol, and Caltrans responded to the scene. Caltrans closed the number 6 lane. The release was contained and secured using absorbent materials. The destination of the downstream storm drain remains unknown. A contractor is en route to manage the cleanup.
