DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported an oil slick on Temescal Canyon, south of Dos Lagos, consisting of approximately 30 gallons of oil spread over a distance of approximately 2,000 feet. The source of the release is currently unknown. There has been no impact on nearby waterways. The release has been stopped and secured, and a contractor will be responsible for the cleanup.
