Orignal Description:Per NRC "Caller reported a rainbow sheen in a creek believed to possibly be from a pipeline. Caller stated that in past history there has been a leak of gasoline from a pipeline in this area of the creek."

Update(s): 09/25/2023 08:01:08 PM - NRC report number mising from the original report, NRC report #1380095.
; 09/26/2023 01:04:04 AM - Matt Russell called from Kinder Morgan stating the following : he received a phone call from their corporate office in Houston TX that had received a 3rd hand report (at this time no information on that caller) that there was a sheen (unknown size, unknown source) on the water of Walnut Creek running near Broadway in the city of Walnut Creek. Kinder Morgan has dispatched a crew to check on the report. Matt stated Kinder Morgan does have a petroleum pipeline in the area that is currently running jet fuel, but was shut down at 20:02 on 9.25.23. The pressure gages on pipe line are normal after running pressure test and are not indicating any problem at this time. Matt stated he would call back with any update.
