g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party, the CHP received notification at 0846 this morning of a tractor-trailer truck that jackknifed in the snow. This ruptured its saddle tank causing the release of fuel. No waterways were affected. The fuel spilled onto the road and an unimproved shoulder. CHP, CalTrans and Cal Fire are on the scene. Information regarding the clean-up operation is unknown currently. There is a tow truck en route to the incident. California State Route 89 is currently closed in both directions due to the incident, and there is no estimate of when the highway will reopen. There were no injuries. | ||
