g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party: A driver drove away from a gas station and did not remove the hose due to the easy disconnect engaging. This caused a release of approximately 580 gallons of gasoline onto the surrounding concrete and asphalt. There was no secondary containment to catch the release. Personnel had to manually disengage the pump and applied absorbents to collect the material. The release was then gathered and placed in waste containers for disposal. | ||
