Orignal Description:Per reporting parfty, A sewage leak occurred in front of the mailboxes at the incident location, spilling onto the asphalt and affecting a nearby storm drain. The release has been stopped but not contained. Cleanup efforts, including the use of absorbents and vacuums, have been initiated by the City of Costa Mesa. The release may have a potential impact on the ocean.
Update(s): 12/02/2024 12:13:06 PM - Reporting Party updated the amount of released sewage to 2,500 gallons. Also added that the spill may have started at 1730 on 12/01/24.
