g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: Caller was notified on 05/15/2024 of a rainbow colored sheen that emitted a diesel-like odor in the San Diego Bay. It is unknown of where the material is releasing from. Absorbent pads were applied. On 05/16/2024, the sheen was reported to have grown so the reporting party deployed BOOM's in an attempt to contain the release. Owners of the nearby vessels were notified to come and check to see if the release was coming from any of their vessels.
