DESCRIPTION: | ***Potential Release*** Per reporting party:: A neighboring homeowner was doing yard work and dug a 2x2 section of dirt, which began to fill with water and emitted a possible petroleum smell. There is a Kinder Morgan pipeline approximately 10 feet from the digging site. This is all the information available at the moment. Per NRC report: Caller reported a release of an unknown material into the ground. Caller stated they received a report from an individual that while conducting yard work, they were digging when the hole began to fill with water that had a fuel type odor. Caller stated they have a pipeline near the incident but are unsure if it is involved. Remedial Action : Investigation underway | ||
