Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, during the remodeling of a public area in the above listed Hotel, the sewage line of the rest-room was accidentally connected to the storm water line. This was the cause of this release of sewage containing human waste and tissue paper. The engineering operation team found the tissue paper outside near the storm drain and immediately closed the rest-room. It was determined that the release began on 12/17/2023 and continued until the repair was finished on 01/31/2024. The spill was first observed on 01/24/2024. The plumbing repairs are done, and the release is stopped. They estimated that the rest-room was visited from 25 to 30 times per day for a period of 38 days until it was repaired. The human waste, tissue and sewage water was captured in a collection point. The Premier Project Management Company was responsible for the release. The parent Company of Premier Project Management is called Ashford, and the reporting party stated that they will be sending a final report to the California State Warning Center via email.
