g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party: A third party contractor performing excavation damaged a half inch service line at a residence, causing a release of natural gas. The local fire department arrived on scene and implemented evacuation orders for the 2 residents of the affected residence. The fire department also closed down travel in both directions on Stokes Ave. The gas release was controlled at 1013 hours and evacuation orders were lifted at 1020 hours. The fire department departed and SoCal Gas will conduct final repairs of the service line. | ||
