Orignal Description:Per Reporting Party, Due to unknown reasons a release of approximately forty-five (45) gallons of untreated water has gone onto asphalt and into a storm drain which leads to the Arroyo Corte Madera del Presidio Creek. The release is currently ongoing, has not been contained and the estimated flow rate is one (1) gallon per minute. Personnel from Mill Valley Public Works are currently onscene while personnel from a contractor are enroute to; stop, contain, and clean up the release. The NRC will not be contacted and OES will not be contacted in regards to updates to this release.

SITUATION UPDATE:
Reporting Party is updating the amount released to 216 gallons of sewage resulting in 45 gallons of sewage entering the creek. The released was contained with a dirt brim and the flow was stopped at 1942 hours. The sewage on the street is currently being cleaned up but the sewage that entered the creek is unrecoverable. Signs are being posted to not enter the creek.
