g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the Reporting Party : There was a vehicle accident involving a passenger vehicle vs a semi truck. One of the saddle fuel tanks on the semi truck ruptured causing the release. The diesel fuel released onto the roadway pavement and gutter area; no waterways or storm drains affected. The release has been stopped. Cal Trans cleaned up the release utilizing a street sweeper and put material into drums for disposal. Initially there was a partial roadway closure that has since been cleared. Kerman Police Department, Kerman Fire Department and Fresno County Environmental Health also responded. Unknown if there were any injuries. | ||
