| Orignal Description:A vehicle collided with a power pole and its transformer, causing an estimated 58 gallons of oil to spill onto the soil in a residential neighborhood. The Fresno County Sheriff's Department is on-site, and an investigation is underway. The condition of the vehicle occupants is not yet known. PG&E crews, along with an environmental specialist, are working to address the spill and carry out remediation efforts. As a result, a temporary road closure is in effect. | | | ||||

| Per NRC #1415769, "Caller is reporting a spill of 58 gallons of non PCB mineral oil due to a vehicle striking a pole mounted transformer. Caller stated an unknown amount of the spill reached a storm drain that is 100 feet away." AFFECTED MEDIUM: Water/Storm drain REMEDIAL ACTIONS: Booms applied at the storm drain. Cleanup crew on-site and cleanup underway. | |
