g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : A freight train struck a pedestrian trespassing on railroad tracks resulting in the pedestrian being fatally injured. Train #ISILB2 or the 14th. Locomotive #UP5843 West. Los Angeles County Fire Department as well as Los Angeles County Sheriff Department responded to the scene. There was no train derailment. This incident occurred on a double line rail track; both tracks are used as passenger route. The incident was not at a rail crossing. Train traffic was shut down in both directions for investigation. Unknown when train traffic will resume.
