DESCRIPTION: Per reporting party, a pad-mounted transformer experienced a significant release due to rust and deterioration resulting in the loss of approximately 172 gallons of Non PCB mineral oil onto the concrete pad and surrounding soil. Cleanup efforts involved digging up the contaminated soil and placing it in drums for disposal. No waterways were impacted by this release.
