Orignal Description:RP stated, Individual was driving a box truck which had a full tote of ferric chloride solution which was punctured and is currently leaking onto the roadway and onto the shoulder of the road. The solution is pooling underneath the trailer and it is currently unknown if the spill is stopped and or contained.
Update(s): 06/05/2023 06:42:51 AM - Caller states a tote with 13,000 gallons capacity containing ferric chloride solution (UN: 2582) is being released onto the roadway from a tote in a box truck due to a puncture of the tote. The driver had to apply brakes due to avoid a collision with a deer in the road, which caused the puncture. No waterways impacted. ; 06/05/2023 08:30:10 AM - RP stated, The location of the incident is 7.2 miles from the city limits of Susanville on Highway 139. GrayMare Enviornmental Services went enroute at 0700 hours from Reno, NV.. ; 06/06/2023 10:22:29 AM - RP stated there were 4 totes totaling 12,000 pounds, only 1 tote was punctured weighing 3,000 pounds and releasing 255 gallons of ferric chloride solution.

SITUATION UPDATE:
RP stated there were 4 totes totaling 12,000 pounds, only 1 tote was punctured weighing 3,000 pounds and releasing 255 gallons of ferric chloride solution.
