g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, while Wilbur-Ellis Company personnel were applying the listed chemical, a hose ruptured during application and caused the release. The chemical impacted the soil at the incident location, and the individual applying the chemical contaminated his skin. There were no injuries.

Per the NRC report, the caller states that less than 1 gallon of insecticide (Radiant SC) was released onto the person’s skin during application onto the soil. The hose ruptured during application causing the release.
