g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party, a contractor failed to turn off a 24-inch gate valve which caused a 36-inch force main line to overflow. The overflow started at 0845 in the morning, and it was stopped at 0915 approximatley 30 minutes later. The spill impacted an asphalt road surface and the soil in a nearby landscape area. No waterways were impacted. Santa Clara City personnel are performing clean-up. They utilized vacuum trucks to clean the sewage. | ||
