g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: A 25 foot private vessel sunk in the American River due to unknown reasons, causing a release of gasoline and oil to spill out into the river and downstream. The Sacramento Fire Dept. is attempting to stop the release from further spreading by placing BOOM's around the vessel as this is the only option reportedly available to them. It is unknown who will conduct official cleanup and removal of the vessel. Vessel ID is unknown.
