Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, on 11/10/2024 at approximately 0030 in the morning, a third party vehicle struck a pad mounted transformer causing the release of the listed material. The spill impacted soil and the concrete pad and pavement near the transformer. No waterways were affected. Clean Harbors Environmental performed the clean-up, and the clean-up is complete..

UPDATE CAUSE:
Collision
SITUATION UPDATE:
Per the NRC Report, the caller reports approximately 90 gallons of Non-PCB mineral oil has been discharged to a concrete pad and the soil surrounding the pad mount. The material came from a pad mounted transformer. The cause of the discharge is a vehicle collision with the transformer. The transformer has been removed. The concrete pad has been cleaned. The soil, about a foot all around the pad, has been excavated.
