g. DESCRIPTION: Per the NRC report: The caller stated that a vessel released (1) gallon of F-76 fuel oil onto the deck, and due to rain over the side into the San Diego Harbor. The cause of the release is unknown however they suspect maintenance may have been a factor. Remedial Actions: The caller stated that they made notifications and deployed a spill kit. A cleanup of the deck was conducted. Sheen Information: Sheen Color: Rainbow. Sheen Size Length: 20 feet. Sheen size width: 10 feet. Vessel Information: USS Ashland. Type: Military.
