Orignal Description:The caller reported that multiple containers were discovered at an illegal dump site on Don Dahvee Rd. Upon opening one of the containers, a release of nitric acid vapor occurred. The vapor release has not been stopped and is not contained, with no waterways impacted. Road closure located at Don Dahvee Rd. All other unknown material is contained within metal and/or plastic containers.

Per reporting party: Clean harbor conducted cleanup, 3 drums of waste were transported to the City of Monterey Public Works yard .The solid waste is in process of being removed by City of Monterey Public Works. Nothing else to report.
