DESCRIPTION: | Per the Reporting Party : A third party contractor damaged a 1 inch plastic natural gas service line while digging releasing the material into the atmosphere.The material is unrecoverable. The fire department responded to the scene. 4 people were evacuated from 2 homes. Holster drive was closed to traffic from Yearling Ave to Hannah Denise Drive. So Cal Gas Crew on scene had the gas release stopped at 1330 hours. There were no injuries associated with this incident. The road is still closed; reporting party will call back to update when evacuations lifted. | ||
