DESCRIPTION: | Per the NRC Report: "Description of incident caller reports a rough estimate of about 100 gallons of lean water containing toluene and xylene (UN 1993) (waste flammable liquids) have been released to concrete, a sidewalk, and asphalt. The material came from a tanker truck. The cause of the release is the lid on top of the tanker was halfway open, it is unknown if it is due to equipment failure or operator error. An investigation is being conducted." Additional Information: "Will call San Jose PD to notify them. Traffic control has been notified about a road closure that will happen. Berryessa road will be closed. It will be closed from the facility to Oakland Road, the westbound lane. No additional information provided" Remedial Actions: "Clean up crew enroute, clean up underway, contractor has been hired, investigation underway. Street services are on the way, there is a team already present though."
