Per reporting party:
A 40 ft sail boat has been discovered at the Minuteman beach and is on its side. The boat has a hole and the items inside are drifting out, such as the wood from the boat, toiletries and bottled chemicals that are ending at the beach. Nothing has released in the water or beach. The caller is concerned for the protected wildlife. The boat can carry up to 40 gallons when full but nothing has been noticed in the water no sheen or chemicals. It was also discovered that the owner of the boat had been rescued sometime in August 2024, anchored the boat and left it. The boat then drifted to where it is now. Per reporting party they do not know who is responsible to clean this up.
