g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party: Automatic alarms located in a contractor building (facility where ozone is created) were set off upon detection of elevated levels of ozone, approximately 3.3ppm-4.0ppm. This caused a system shut down and for the backup systems to engage. The suspected cause of the ozone release is the threading of the drop leg ball valve on both the north and south main ozone header's. Maintenance is currently underway to fix the mechanism. | ||
