Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, at approximately 1830, a pole mounted transformer fell because it failed at its base. It was an old and out of service line, so it might not need to be repaired. The contractor, Clean Harbors, will perform the clean-up. The oil impacted the ground beneath the pole, and the oil was absorbed into the soil. The PCB content of the spilled transformer oil is unknown.

Per the NRC report, the caller states that three pole-mounted transformers fell (from causes unknown) and released approximately 20 gallons of transformer oil (unknown pcb) to the ground. Cleanup has been delayed, due to naggsville spraying (they are not able to return for 24 hours.)
