g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: Passenger train #573 struck a van that was attempting to beat the train across a private crossing. This crossing does not have any lights, gates, or bells. Only the operator of the vehicle was injured and transported to the hospital. The train passengers remained on the train. There is no Hazmat release or train derailment. It is unknown of who responded to the scene. The main line has been reopened and train traffic resumed as normal.
