g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, the City of Greenfield experienced a levee failure at their pond at Rapid Infiltration Basin # 10. The release was stopped and controlled as the report was being made. The City was first notified of the release at 1035 this morning, and the spill was stopped at 1158. The release impacted the land of a Sod Farm, and it is contained within the Sod Farm. No waterways were impacted. It is estimated to be over 100,000 gallons of the listed material. The City of Greenfield personnel responded to the incident, and they will be utilizing an unidentified contractor to clean-up the release. The exact cause of the levee failure is under investigation. The reporting party will be contacting the California State Warning Center with update details.
