g. DESCRIPTION: Per reporting party, Due to an electrical failure at a pump station in Foster City, approximately 2,500 gallons of wastewater were released. The wastewater impacted the asphalt and eventually entered a storm drain. Although the storm drain has a catch basin, it flows into a lagoon, which ultimately leads to San Francisco Bay. Cleanup efforts were carried out by the reporting party using vacuum trucks, recovering around 2,000 gallons from the catch basin. Unfortunately, the remaining wastewater was lost to the lagoon.
