DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, at 0557 this morning the CHP in Barstow received a report of an overturned white semi-truck with a flat-bed trailer which resulted in a lithium ion battery fire. The battery is next to the overturned trailer. The San Bernardino County Fire Department is on scene and currently closing Northbound Interstate 15 at the Afton Road Exit near Mile Marker 113. Caltrans is also enroute to the incident. San Bernardino County Fire Department and Caltrans will be performing the clean-up.
