DESCRIPTION: A technician was performing scheduled maintenance on an indoor compressor when a pressurized hose became disconnected, releasing approximately 12 gallons of the listed substance into a designated concrete containment area. The release was stopped by activating a shut-off valve to an above-ground lubricating tank. There were no fires, and no personnel evacuations were necessary. The technician was sprayed with some of the oil during the incident but received on-site medical care and required no further assistance. An environmental specialist was contacted, and the cleanup was completed. The power generation facility remained operational throughout the incident.
