g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party: Teachers discovered a release of mercury from a broken barometer in a classroom at the incident location. The barometer fell off of a table and onto the ground at some point over the course of the summer, however there is no exact time frame of when this incident occurred. The reporting party stated that the school was having the floors worked on and could have potentially occurred during this time. The room has been blocked off with cautionary tape and hazardous materials signs barring access to the classroom. The school has a Hazmat cleanup crew on standby, however an investigation will be conducted first. | ||
