DESCRIPTION: During maintenance on a generator a fixed firefighting system was activated causing the release, material vented directly into the atmosphere inside the vessel emergency generator room, it appears that the maintenance worker may have come into contact with the system and inadvertently activated the suppression system, two contractors self evacuated and went home for the day, RP handled the containment and the room is naturally ventilating and no clean up required.
