Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, West County Waste Water was notified of a sewage overflow at 1454 this afternoon. There was a blockage in a 6 inch main line. Roots or unknown material caused the blockage. The sewer line was made of zitrified clay. The overflow was stopped and partially contained by 1525 in the afternoon. The spill impacted a storm drain with catch basins. West County Waste Water personnel cleaned the sewage by using a vacuum truck and washing the curbs of the affected area. 20 gallons of sewage were recovered from the storm drain. And the remainder of the listed sewage was unrecoverable.
